Biafra Without War, "Matters arising"

First let me congratulate the leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB) family worldwide Mazi Nnamdi Kanu "the Great" I use the world the great because of his bravery and good work he has been doing to liberate our people from mental slavery. I must compliment you for that risky task because it’s only men with lion heart that can take such a bravery task. I wish you were able to read my article that I wrote in 2015 and entitled ““A call from a Helpless Child in the Lion's Den; https://kas-links.blogspot.com/2015/10/a-call-from-helpless-child-in-lions-den.html ”. To understand where I was coming from.

As the leader of at least 80% of Biafra people, I believe it is time to make it as a matter of urgency to enlighten our people in the far away north to prepare for the worst events that might occur. You know, in life, before you decided to do anything, you have to make a provision for the worst so that when it occurs, it will not take you by surprise. As a realists, although I was not brought up as a realists, I was brought up as a liberal person who does not want trouble, but events changed my perception of how I view thing in life.

For example, my wine container that has a NAFDAC Number was delayed for 3 months and I have paid the Agent the whole amount of money that he has charged me. This guy is one of the richest Agent in Lagos because he was the one that was clearing goods for Patient Jonathan, the wife of the former president of Nigeria Good-luck Jonathan then. So he has the contacts and the financial power to do whatever he wants. But he decided to punish me by delaying the container and for three months, the container had attracted demurrage of 1.6 million Naira, making the total of amount that was used to clear it to be 4.6 million Naira. I prayed and fasted for 3 months, I pleaded with him to clear my container but he was reluctant to do so, until I picked up a serious fight with him. Although, it was a suicide mission to me because of how influential he is, but I had to take it because it was a challenge to me although I backed it up with the help of the police to take the actions and within 24 hours of that fight, the container was released to me at the Area E in Ikeja.

This is to tell you that sometime people sit on your properties to see how brave you are. And As a student of international relations and diplomacy, I have read and studied world politics and I was able to get small information about how international politics is/was played. In my own opinion, there is only 30% chances of getting Biafra without war because of the oil and gas that is deposited in Biafra land by the creator of heaven and earth. And it happens that this is the only thing that is keeping Nigeria one. If not, by now, Biafra would have been a free nation since because we are not and will never be one. If there was no oil and gas in Biafra land, Biafra would have been free, that is the fact. And had it been that the oil and gas was found in the North and was not found in Biafra land, after the civil war, Biafra would have been a free nation.

The North cannot allow Biafra to go based on protests. Secondly I have researched to see if I can find a country that emerged without war after decolonisation era, all I could found is Czechoslovakia and they were able to separate peaceful because there was no resources to fight over. Do you see why I said that there is only 30 percent chances of Biafra emerging without war. Have you ever asked yourself why repented Boko-Harams were integrated back into the Nigeria forces, just to keep dominating, intimidating and milking the Biafra people because for them, they have prepared for war. The North have been preparing for war but our leaders are not seeing it because of the peanuts they are getting.

What is happening in Nigeria is the same thing that has happened in Sudan and South Sudan. The British merged the North and the South and intentionally gave power to the North to dominate the South as they did in Nigeria, and as a result of who control the resources caused the 22 years war between the North and Southern Sudan. Even the reason the Southern Sudan are fighting today is the same reason of who control the oil revenue because power was handed over to the same group that are suffering from colonial mentality and are loyal to the western capitalist.

The reason the British is always siding with the Muslim in all oil producing states in Africa was because it is easy to manipulate them to protect the western oil interest because of their backwardness than the non Muslim. In the Nigeria/Biafra case, Oil and Gas is the sources and easy revenue for the Hausa/Fulani caliphate, so street protest will not make them to let Biafra go. We need a serious force if we are to liberate ourselves from them, and we have to understand that the only way somebody will lose war is if the people do not have the financial power to fund the war off which only IPOB family can finance a 30 years war without feeling any negative impact.

It is so painful that the UN and the World are turning a blind eye on the plight of Biafra, but one has to understand the reason for such attitudes coming from the UN even though the UN constitution on self-determination permit self-determination. The reason behind such attitudes from the UN is because the UN is dominated by Capitalist countries who ganged up in Berlin in 1884-5 to divide and share African resources by themselves and also abolished all form of self governance, putting Africa in a mess that they have found themselves today because of artificial border creations.

Looking up to the UN is out of the way because their interest is being protected by the Hausa/Fulani Oligarchy, unless their interest is being challenged militarily, which is the only way they will change overnight. Secondly there is this fear of Burden on the international charity because if a state gets independent and such state is economically weak, the international communities will fear that it will be a serious burden on them. But Biafra is not economically weak so what is the fear of granting them freedom? Let me answer it to my own little understanding based on the reasons that I will present. First there is this fear of losing control of colonies, which will re-draw the borders. Secondly the West would not want a free and an independent country in Africa because of the economic benefits they are enjoying from a crisis Africa. They want an Africa that is down so that they can easily manipulate and control them. Thirdly, they don't want to trigger secession within African states knowing too well that they have committed atrocity by creating an artificial borders in Africa based on their economic interest etc.

Africa is not the only western experimental ground, the same way African was divided by the West was the same way they did in Asia, Arab and South America, but because Africa happened to be the richest continent that made themselves to be poor, the West took advantage of that in their favour. Biafra war was the only war that has not been discussed or the actors not being prosecuted by the UN and ICC, why is it so? Because the victims are the actors. Those who committed the atrocity are the same people that will prosecute the case or that were in charge of the ICC and the UN. In one of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu's broadcast, he stated that before one goes to war, one needs to have an international support.

My question is which country have you Mazi Nnamdi Kanu approached for a military backup? There is something you have to understand which is that no international communities will encourage you to go to war, rather they will advice you to continues your protest which is a delay tactics to them to continue to milk the region. But support and back up will come when they have seen that throughly Biafra is ready to go. One thing I understand in international politics is that there is no permanent enemies but what we have is permanent interest and that interest changes when events occurs. If there is war today, there will be a divided interest and all interest will go to the region that has the oil if they can protect their borders.

In 1991, an events occurred and Germany recognises Croatia because of their historical ties. To me, what I see/saw was based on German interest on Croatia before others followed. Have you asked yourself why majority of international communities are backing Palestinian against Israel? Because they stood their ground and made it clear that they want to be free from Israel with war or without war. People supports people based on their determination and not on a mere protest. No country in these world has been granted freedom only by protest after decolonization era. The United States invited North Korea to a negotiation because of their determination to wage war with the US. It does not matter if they will lose or not but what matters was that they were being provoked.

It is very painful that there is no single strong country in Africa because they focus on what they will sell to make money and not on what they will produce to make money. A country cannot grow by simple selling what they have rather countries grow by selling what they produces. The problem Africa are facing was the same problem Europe were facing but it took one man Napoleon to change the world order during the French Revolution in Europe. The Arab Spring started by a Tunisia man name Mohamed Bouazizi in 2010 to change the world order in Arab world. Look at in Nigeria, tribalism and bigotry did not allow Nigeria to see what Nnamdi Kanu is doing. Was it because he started it as a Biafra or what? Off which this is the platform or opportunity that other oppressed region in Nigeria would have use to liberate themselves, but lack of reasoning and bigotry in nature did not allow them to see the good side of his action.

As the leader of Biafra, it is time for Mazi Nnamdi Kanu to make it clear to the Igbo's in the North to return home now because we will not say because somebody built one Hotel or Flat and because of that, we will remain the Northern Slaves. If not, what happened during the first Civil war will happen to them again. If we can be able to get 50% of Biafra living in the North, the remaining 50% should be used as a sacrifice to get Biafra. I own nobody any apology on this statement because they refused to listen when they have seen the handwritten on the wall. It happened to the jewish people in Europe, those that left were saved, but those that thought we are one or we have properties and busineses were among the 6 million that were killed.

Biafra people mainly the so called Niger Delta region should ask themselves one question, why is it that their resources are being used to feed the Nation but they are hungry and poor and their region are being polluted while the people they are feeding are more developed and are in total control of their resources? Why can't Niger Delta looks like Dubia? Dubia is a state in Emirates not a country of its own. Why can't Niger-Delta benefits like other oil producing states in the world. That reminds me of one of my classmate, she is from Iraq and she told me that the government is paying each indigene of their region where the oil is being extracted 500 US dollars every months because the oil is from their state. Why is the Nigeria government not doing the same to the indigene of the Niger-Delta through a direct funds distribution? The injustice in the Biafra land is not something a street protest will solve, rather the only solution is to apply a military force. When a diplomacy or peaceful approach fails, military action becomes inevitable. The views expressed on this article are solely the authors option and it might differ with your own views or opinion which is understandable.
