Although I wanted to be silent for a very long time but when this Ebola virus outbreak came up, I couldn't hold my breath because the way the media started flying the news around the nation, CNN, T.V and radio stations were busy reporting the Ebola virus outbreak cases in west Africa because we thought it was a western propaganda. Suddenly one man Patrick sawyer, an African-American citizen who knows the risk of the outbreak, decided to snick into Nigeria to spread the virus even although he was warned of the danger of traveling outside the country.
And the only place he felt he needed to be was in Lagos Nigeria. Two days later all the newspapers, TV and radio stations started broadcasting the news and how deadly the virus is. Everybody became afraid of death both the rich and the poor. Suddenly, Nigeria government waked up from their slumber and acted urgently. First time in the Nigerian history that the government committed 90% in the nations interest because they are afraid of being infected or their family members being infected.
I belt you, had it been that the virus is only for the poor, the Nigeria government wouldn't have acted as fast as they did. Which means the decay of infrastructure/bad governance in our country is an act of wickedness and negligence. Anyway thanks to the Lagos State governor Fashola, he really did a good job.
Nigerian should not blame only the government for the problems the country is facing now but should also cast their blames to their fellow citizens too. For example, when the news of the virus started spreading, people started using the opportunity to rip their fellow citizens up. Cheating in the highest order became the order of the day.
Imagine the price of steriliser increased overnight. The normal price of steriliser was 2,500 per a carton, but as soon as the news of the Ebola virus came up and people were told that steriliser can prevent people from contacting the virus. The prices of the steriliser increased to 7,000 per a carton. If people will use this kind of opportunity to make steriliser that will protect their fellow citizens more expensive, then what do u expect government to do? Which means what the government are doing is the same thing the citizens would have done if they have the opportunity to be in that position. Don't forget that the government that we are accusing of being corrupt are the representative of the people.
Can you imagine that the Holy Redeem Catholic church in shibiri Ajangbadi, made their church members to Sow a seed offering by ordering them to buy Ebola bread at the rate of 5,000 Naira (24 Euro). A bread that the price on the street is 220 Naira (1 Euro) was sold 5000 Naira and when the reverend father saw that the number of people that bought the bread at the rate of 5,000 Naira wasn't enough, he brought the price down to 200 Naira. Promising his members that as soon as u buy this bread and eat it, u will never get Ebola virus.
People started buying because no body want to die. Everybody was looking for a protection. A lot of things were suggested including drinking of salt and bathing with it which killed few that did it. In fact to tell you how scared people were including me. One day I was driving through the market square and a will-barrow pushers scratched my car, out of anger I raised my hand up to slap the man, immediately I remembered the Ebola virus and how one can contact it. I slowly returned my hand down and warn the man to be careful next time.
Now the question people are asking is this, why did Patric sawyer decided to snick into Nigeria to spread the virus? Was he paid by the western pharmaceutical agent so that the Nigeria government will donate money or what? I think yes because I listened to an interview granted by Maurice Iwu to Ait, he said that " the reason why the vaccine for the Ebola virus is not available in the market like other medicine is because it is not economically profitable due to the fact that it is only few people were infected. And That the pharmaceutical company would not like to invest a hug amount of money on it when few people are infected because it is not profitable”. But had it been that the virus is like malaria, the pharmaceutical company will produce the medicine for the people because it is economically profitable.
With this kind of statement, one will understand that Ebola virus is a chemical reaction that was injected to some animals in Liberia, Sierra-Leon and other poor African countries by the pharmaceutical companies through some NGOs that claimed to be helping Africa but indirectly they are agents that want to make money from the African government. If not bush meat has been our source of meat starting from our forefathers.
In fact people are saying that the reason why the outbreak came up in the democratic republic of Congo in 1976 was because the western world wanted to recover the part of the money they spent during the world war 11 from Africa, that is the reason why the virus started in Africa. And Africa being a continent that depends on the foreign aid, the western world will continue to brainwashed them.
After 38 years of the first Ebola virus was discovered, no body had heard about the sickened anymore. All of a sudden, the sickness rose up again. The question people are asking is, why did the sickness rose up again after 38 years? Which drugs was used to cure the people affected in Congo 38 years ago? Does it mean that the virus rose up again after the Iraq and Libyan war? Was this virus a means by which the western world are using indirectly to seek fund from Africa?
I think Africa should desist from the aid dependency from the western world and stand up and face their future because after many years of aid dependency from the western world, we are still where we were. Africa should learn from china, if they want to move forward.
According to analysis, " the Ebola has killed 2,461 people in West Africa – the largest ever outbreak. US President Barack Obama has called the latest outbreak “a threat to global security”, and announced a larger US role in fighting the virus. The measures announced included ordering 3,000 US troops to the region and building new healthcare facilities. The announcement came as UN officials described the outbreak as a health crisis “unparalleled in modern times.”
In fact with this announcement, one will understand that the USA are contradicting the whole accusation pointing fingers at them that they know the origin of the virus. For example, why should the USA government under their pulpit president announced their plans to send 3,000 troops to Liberia? Are they going there to fight the Ebola virus with guns or with doctors and vaccine or are they going there to occupy the country with military men? This is the question we need to ask the pulpit president to answer us.
Since he became the president of the USA, he became drunk with the power vested on him. First he wanted Africa to practice homosexual and lesbianism. Among all the former presidents of America, the idea of homosexual and lesbianism did not come up, even Clinton and W. Bush made it a private affairs. But why Obama why blacks? Is Joan rivers claims that Obama is a gay while Michelle Obama is a transgender true? With Obamas way of approach in terms of homosexual and lesbianism, One will conclude that Joan Rivers claims sounds too good to be true maybe it is true maybe not who knows.
