ABC Transport, A "Coach or a Moluwa"

Don't get me twisted, I'm just not happy seeing people's well planned business going down due to mismanagement. If you have been using ABC transport company for the past two years, one will understand that ABC transport company are living on their past glory. If I have the opportunity to manage ABC transport, within 6months. I will return the business to what it used to be.

I'm writing this article not because I want people to stop patronizing the company, but because I want the company's management to sit up and put things in order. Listen I have been an ABC Gold costumer so for me to be criticizing ABC means that I'm not satisfy and i want the company to return to what it used to be. I could remember those days when people were over proud to be using ABC transport company.

Within those days, people that were traveling with ABC Coach were business men and women. In fact people that matters in the societies, name them, politicians, business men and women, people in diaspora. Those days, the name " ABC" rings bell. People prefer using ABC coach then flying or using any other transport company in Nigeria because those days, you hardly see any ABC transport coach that has any accident compare with the young shall grow, Chisco and others.

Though people were saying that the young shall grow transport company and Chisco transport company are into rituals, and that was the reason their buses often got accident. But there is no evidence to back this claims. But all I can say is that, the causes of the accidents those days was because of heavy consumption of alcohol by the drivers and couple with the heavy load of " fufu that is cassava local food", the drivers often take before they embark on a journey of 10-12 hours. Don't forget that when you eat fufu and add it with a couple of alcoholic drinks, you will be weak and sleepy. So tell me when a driver is in this condition and is on a speed above 100 kilometers per hour in a worst road, why won't he had an accident.

So for this reasons, people were patronizing ABC transport company because of their accident free record due to their safety first campaign, which made it necessary that all drivers must not exceed 90 kilometers per hour, and there are several numbers to call and report any driver that over speed the 90 kilometers per hour limit . Couple with how organize ABC were and they are always on time. When they tell you that your coach will live by 7;30am, immediately it is time to move, the coach will leave without wasting time. At the costumer care office, you will see people that missed their buses complaining.

Some will want to get their 50% refunds, while some people will want to add money and rebook their buses against the following day if there is no next bus. In fact those days, when they announced your boarding time, as you get to the bus, you will see a well dressed gentleman in a suits like a pilot. And inside the coach, you will be offered a delicious rice and a chilled water with some newspapers to welcome you on board. And if any of their bus developed air condition problem, they will refund you some money but now the story is revised.

Things has changed from bad to worst. ABC is now the worst transport company anybody will ever want to use. A journey of 10-12 hours before is now 18-20hours, sometimes you leave Lagos around 9am with a supposed 6;30 or 7;30am bus and believe me, you will get to Owerri or Abuja the next day around 1am in the middle of the night. If the bus did not break down in "Sagamu" it will be between Ore to Benin. In fact what got me angry was my last journey from Lagos to Abuja in June 2016, the bus broke down towards Ibadan area. Everybody were angry, first a 6;30am bus, we left around 9am. The rice they saved us was not done, in fact i couldn't eat the rice it looks like food one often eat when he or she attends the poorest persons burial.

Around 12noon, they were able to get us a second bus because one Hausa paramilitary man was in the bus and the man called their office in Lagos and threaten them and that was why they sent another bus if not, we would have waited until a mechanic come to fixed it. Upon all that stress, we got to Abuja around 1am in the morning. Based on my calculations and information obtained, ABC has no reason to go down if not because of mismanagement.

For example, ABC charges 6,700 naira. If you multiply it by 52 seats, he will be making 338,000 a day then multiply it by 30 days in a month, Each bus will be giving ABC 10,140,000 naira. Then multiply it by 12 months, you will find out that each bus is bringing in 121,680,000. The cost of each bus is between 60,000,000. Even if you Subtract their expenses, ABC will still make enough money to change new buses every 2 years. In fact, those days ABC used to have 2 buses from Amuwo, we are not talking about other branches. One will understand that it will cost ABC nothing to change new buses every 2-3 years. Could you imagine that last time I was going to Owerri, ABC combined people coming from Amuwo with Jibowu to Enugu, Abia and Owerri, all in the same bus yet the bus was not full. If you know ABC those days, they have daily buses with different coaches to all these destinations. Sometimes two buses to each destinations everyday.

In conclusion, I will tell ABC as a matter of urgency to call the management to order because you are loosing your costumers. Even although if you are making money from cargo and other business, you need to take your transportation business serious because not everybody like flying with local flights or like to use small buses. We need something that is alternative to flight which your company can provide. If I have the opportunity to manage ABC transport, within 6months. I will return the business to what it used to be.

IPOB championing the cause of the Igbo race, or endangering the Igbo race?

First let me apologize to my readers, for my inability to provide them with something to read for the past 4 months because of some circumstances beyond my control. Let me also make it clear here that I am a born Biafra man and I will support a genuine cause of Biafra any day, any time. In fact if the only solution to get Biafra is for the UN to guarantee me that if I give up my life, the Biafra will get her independence immediately , I will not wast a second to give up my life because my people's freedom is more important to me than my life.

IPOB should understand that you cannot get Biafra on the social media, neither will you get Biafra through street protests. Protesting and talking about Biafra is creating for problem to the Igbo race because igbos are regarded as slave and developers to the northerners and Yoruba's. IPOB have done well by enlighten the whole world about our problems which the world are playing a deaf game. The major problem IPOB has is, they do not have a representative in the national assemble that will sponsor a bill to ask for a referendum for the Biafra people because all our governors, senators and House of Representatives are corrupt and they are scared of probe. Couple with most of them were promised one post or the other by the northerners, Some were promised the presidency, while some senators and e.t.c.

That is the reason why our so called elites never condemn the killing of unarmed Biafra neither do they defend us. So now you can understand why I said you cannot get Biafra easily or without a gun shots because somebody must table it to the floor of the National Assembly to debate it like Britain tabled their case to the European Parliament for a debate wether the British should exit or not. But if nobody is ready to sponsor the bill on the floor of the National Assembly, the only options left is to declared war. Believe me when this happened, all the governors, senator and House of Representatives will wake up from their slumber and face the reality.

I have studied the problem of Nigeria, and I discovered that this country will remain like this until one is ready to face the reality. There are two options left to put Nigeria in order, first is to restructure the country and implement a true federalism for us to have peace, if we really want to be the giant of Africa. Second is either the South East and South South come up with one voice and face the Nigeria government under the control of Hausa/ Fulani and Yoruba in a brutal war, to be able to be free. Or they should remain calm and submit their loyalty to the Hausa/Fulani authorities because every Hausa / Fulani person speaks or understand one thing, which is war and intimidation. And they believe that south east and south south is their place of survival. That is why to drive them out, one needs to do it by force.

Don't forget what Sir Ahmadu Bello in the Parrot Newspaper of October 12, 1950 where he said: “This new nation called Nigeria shall be the enclave of our great grandfather- Usman Dan Fodio. We shall use the minority as willing tools; we shall use those of the South as a conquered territory. Never shall we allow them to gain power.”

And this happened before Nigeria got her independent, and if this is the case, which means the proposed greasing bill or the Herdsmen killings in the South Eastern region is a calculated plan to conquer the South Eastern territory through intimidation . And by also using some few Yorubas to conquer the Southern region and make Nigeria their enclave based on Usman Dan Fodio's ideology.

One thing I hate about my Biafra brethren is their arrogance. The way the insult the northerners and the Yoruba's are too annoying, they called them names. I used to do that but I stopped due to I asked myself a honest question. But in return, the people they regarded as inferior or fools are the one ruling us. Plato's observation "Those who tell the stories also rule the society." The northerners tell the stories and they are the one ruling us and they are good in a long time planning and they often backed it with intimidation to achieve their dreams. That is why in every little provocation, the northerners want war. War is not the best solution to resolve issues, but when there is no room for a peaceful solution to settle issues, war becomes inevitable. The south east and south south should forget being used by the northerners with a peanuts and come out with one voice and defend themselves before it is too late.

To my northern brothers, it is high time all of you understand that 1960's and 21 century are not the same. Forget that you defeated Biafra with the help of the western powers which took you people almost three years, how much more now that the whole world have seen your atrocities couple with that Niger delta and middle belts are not ready to be on your side. if we should go to another civil war, it will not be like 1960's war. Don't forget that igbos are everywhere in the western world which makes it easy for them to finance the war. And know that Niger delta and middle belts will not fall for your cheap propaganda against their Igbo brothers. And the Yoruba's you people thought that you have conquered is only Tinubu's faction which are not the majority in Yoruba land.

In fact to my own opinion, I will say that the northerners are more intelligent than the southerners because of their ability to manipulate the southerners using the minority or better still using the Yorubas to achieve their desires. Although one might say that the southerners are more educated than the northerners but to me, I see most of the so called southern graduates as an "illiterate graduate" because of the manipulations in the academic systems in the Nigeria universities.

The problem of the Biafra people is they like luxurious life that is why wherever he or she finds him or herself, he or she will want to live a comfortable life, making other tribes to envy them and thought that they want to dominates them. No the Igbo tribes don't want to dominate anybody, they are only showing you appreciation by developing your region because they believe in " one Nigeria" but shout Biafra when they felt they are being marginalized. And they also over welcome and show love to strangers because of their Christian beliefs.

In conclusion, I will tell my northern brothers that half bread is better than non, as you have milked the South to develop your region, don't call for war to destroy all you have achieved because you people will not win any war. Restructure the country and allow every region to have control over their resources and pay tax to the federal which the tax will be used to take care of weak states. And this will enable every region compete with each other and develop their region as it was done in the western countries that are advising you wrongly. USA and Britain are not the only strong world power now, other countries are asking question and are seeing how you people are killing the Biafra for no reason.
